As a Laundry Tech, you will be responsible for tending laundering machines to clean articles such as rags, wiping cloths, filter cloths, bags, sacks, and work clothes. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. For our team members, this is more than a career — it’s a calling.
You Will Be Responsible For
Distributes resident personal laundry to resident’s rooms daily. Collects hangers daily from resident rooms.
Distributes linens to clinical care units daily.
Monitors and sorts personal clothing from linens to reduce risks of lost personal clothing items. Inventories and labels resident clothing and maintains an updated personal clothing listing to reduce lost unlabeled clothing items.
Lubricates machines.
Monitoring and labeling of new resident clothing and clothing items with missing or partially missing labels.
Manages grievances related to resident personal clothing and follows up with family members with the outcomes.
Manages process for families who wash resident laundry including verifying signage on closet and ensuring each resident has a fire-retardant hamper.
