This article will highlight 5 prospects from the Class of 2026 who I expect to be high level College Football players.
Brandon Esson
HEIGHT 6'4"
WEIGHT 200
POS DL
CLASS 2026
State: New England
School: Danbury
Brandon has athleticism that is off the charts. At DE, his combination of explosiveness and speed is elite. What makes Brandon even more special is the length he possesses. Standing at 6’4 with long arms are Power 4 measurables. When you watch Esson rush the passer he uses his hands well and plays with good leverage to get himself into position. Heading into his junior campaign, Brandon is going to be a nightmare for opposing offensive lineman. There is no doubt that Brandon’s athleticism and size combination are Power 4 caliber.
Brandon has picked up a Boston College Offer.
Will Balicki
HEIGHT 6'3"
WEIGHT 200
POS DL
CLASS 2026
State: New England
School: Berlin
Will plays mostly as a hybrid OLB. DE. He can play both as a stand up or hands down DE. He shows suddenness and does a good job of taking on and eliminating the blocker to make plays. Will rushes the passer with relentless effort which often times allows him to get to the QB. He plays the game with physicality and toughness. I think Balicki will continue to climb the Class of 2026 rankings.
Highlights
Freddy Melton
HEIGHT 6'2"
WEIGHT 195
POS QB
CLASS 2026
State: New England
School: King School
Freddy had a productive sophom*ore year playing QB at King School. He accounted for over 2,000 years and 19 TD’s. He was also named a first team all conference. Freddy has a quick release and a big arm. He does a nice job of getting his feet into position to throw the ball accurately into tight windows. He shows poise in the pocket when throwing the football. I think Freddy has all the tools to be one of the top QB’s in the Class of 2026.
Highlights
Jacob Romanowski
HEIGHT 6'3"
WEIGHT 275
POS OL
CLASS 2026
State: New England
School: Asonia
Jacob is a 2 way player at OL/DL for Ansonia High School. Jacob was a All-State selection by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association and was 1st team All NVL. At Guard, he shows the ability to run block with great success by consistently knocking the defender backwards. He does a nice job of keeping his legs moving and doesn’t finish the play until the whistle blows. Jacob plays with toughness and aggression. He loves contact. Romanowski also plays on the interior defensive line. He clogs up gaps with ease and can blow up the run game. Overall, Jacob is a legitimate OL/DL prospect in the Class of 2026.
Tedy Frisoli
HEIGHT 5'11"
WEIGHT 175
POS ATH
CLASS 2026
State: New England
School: St Sebastians
Tedy is a dynamic player at WR/DB for St. Sebastians. He shows high level acceleration and quickness with the ball in his hands. Tedy plays many snaps for the inside WR position. He tracks the ball with ease in the air and looks smooth when catching the ball. He is a natural pass catcher. In space, he earns many yards after the catch due to change of direction ability. He is exactly what you want from a slot WR; consistent and reliable. I expect Tedy to continue to be a very productive WR and to rise in the Class of 2026 rankings.
